Children & Shih Tzu ` Puppy Rainbow

Our Shih Tzu are very kind and gentle for children old enough to play with them, school age on up.  They do not shed, as they have hair like people.

Rainbow Puppy ~

Shih Tzu puppies are a rainbow of colors...the breed is well known for changing coat colors as he enters adulthood.  In fact, by the time your Shih Tzu celebrates his first birthday he may be a completely different color than he was when you brought him home.

For example a puppy that has gold hair at birth may turn orange and one that is blue at birth can turn gray by his first birthday---and those born black may lighten over time.  The only coat color that remains true is the black-and-white combination.

Our Signature Shih Tzu ...Chad is brindle, however his red saddle has turned a lighter color and now at seven months old a very light gray is showing around his eyes since the groomer trimmed around the eyes very short.  He is a beautiful guy with thick long hair.  My idea of a perfect dog.  This is why he will be the father of all our babies.

Our girl Bree was born brown.  We got her at six weeks old and in a coule of weeks she had a beautiful black face,  She was thought to be a golden or red by her breeder.  At five months old she has quite a bit of white hair, just gorgeous.

Our girl Pepper Ann just came to live with us at two years of age and is still a black- and- white in color, with lovely wavy hair.  She is precious, calm and loving.

Chad & Pepper Ann will be parents with babies probably ready for Christmas or early spring.  They will produce non-yappy puppies.
